Ambre & Vanilla

Umoya takes its name from the Xhosa, Zulu, and Ndebele word for spirit, or breath — and it moves the way air does: light, unhurried, present without weight. The composition opens with juniper berries and nutmeg, settles into a coriander heart, and rests on a base of vanilla, musk, caramel, and amberwood — amber-vanilla in construction, but luminous rather than sweet.
